Dance Medicine Practicum
Westside Dance Physical Therapy is pleased to announce a new continuing education program in the field of Dance Medicine. This interdisciplinary program is designed to upgrade the knowledge and practical application in the prevention and rehabilitation of dance injuries. All modules will include lectures, demonstrations, hands-on lab sessions, case studies and live performances as well as skill and clinical reasoning assessments. There will be 4 different modules and upon successful completion of all 4 modules participants will be eligible to receive a Certificate in Dance Rehabilitation Training from WSDPT. This program is available to Physical Therapists, Physicians, Dance Educators, Athletic Trainers, Massage Therapists, Pilates and Gyrotonic Instructors, and others by request.
